In the year 1937 King Leopold III inaugurates University Val Saint Benoit.

But since 1967 the site gradually is abandoned and various departments are transferred to another campus.

Since then the decay started and the university finally closed it's doors in 2005.

It was left untouched the first few years.

Nowadays it is used as training grounds for police dogs.
